The chosen centres are in line with the pronouncement of Premier of Bokone Bophirima Supra Mahumapelo of reaching out to rural communities. The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development partnered with the Department of Social Development Early Childhood Development Programme to respond to this noble call of caring and protecting Children`s Rights. “We are delighted to work with DOJ in advancing interests of children from early stages, said Martha Paadi from Social Development.

“We will be playing with kids and entertaining them through games as a gesture of compassion and adoration. As much as we will be educating kids about their rights, we deemed it necessary to interact in a jovial and relaxed mood with them. My colleagues are geared and thrilled to reach out to kids and share with them”, said Motshabi Setlhako-Madiehe, Director Legal Services. According to Tsholofelo Mosidi Legal Admin Officer in the DOJ, she says it is their responsibility as the department to reach out to vulnerable groups and everyone to ensure the protection of human rights and taking access to justice to communities.
