The report in the media today following Minister Gordhan's response to a parliamentary question regarding investment vehicles offered by government is based on an apparent misreading of the minister's reply.
Both National Treasury and the Economic Development Department are in ongoing discussions. Government continuously considers various funding instruments as part of the development of our financial markets.
