The school health officials from Gauteng Department of Education and the Gauteng Department of Health are visiting all schools during the month of October to immunise all children from grade R to grade 12 against measles.
The Gauteng Department of Education requires all parents to sign and return the consent forms to schools for their children to be immunised. Failure to do so will place your child at greater risk of contracting measles with serious health consequences.
NB: Children without signed consent forms will not be immunised!
