A historic land claim case underway in Grahamstown

Hundred (100) years since the enacting of The Native Land Act of 1913, which robbed off Black people of their land by giving them 13% and gave White people 87% of the land, a historic land case claim is underway in Grahamstown. Of particular interest in this case is that 118 of the claimants are women.

This case not only will be a catalyst in the history of South Africa but will also serve as an inspiration to thousands of women hat they can be empowered to stand for their rights as long as they believe. It is upon this background that the Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) believes this case deserves to be given the attention it deserves.
