The hearing on Communications Minister, Ms Dina Pule, has been postponed to early May (next month).
This postponement was agreed to by the multi-party panel. According to the Ethics Committee’s Co-Chairperson, Mr Lemias Mashile, the Committee took a decision on 20 February this year that, in terms of paragraph 3.1 of the procedure for the investigation of complaints, a hearing must be held to deal with complaints against Minister Pule.
The multi-party panel comprises: Prof. Ben Turok (Chairperson), Mr Andrew Mlangeni, Mr Bhekizizwe Radebe, Ms Modjadji Mangena, Ms Diane Kohler Barnard, Mr Jacobus van der Merwe, Mr Thabo Makunyane, Ms Zukiswa Rantho and Mr Swaphi Plaatjie.
Further details will be communicated closer to the date of the hearing.
