The Department of Health in Limpopo would like to warn members of the public about a job scam by certain culprits allegedly offering employment at Mankweng Hospital and the provincial head office.
The department received reports of the scam through unemployed individuals from Mankweng and Polokwane, saying that they were being asked to pay different amounts, starting from R1 000, which were to be deposited through Shoprite Money Send in exchange for employment.
The department would like to distance itself from any individual or advert that asks money from unsuspecting job seekers in exchange for employment. If and when the department has to fill vacancies, posts the public to be aware of such culprits and those who have already become victims of the scam to report the matter to the police so that the allegations can be will be advertised and selections made from the applications received. We encourage investigated and culprits brought to justice.
