Government on the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster report on Waterkloof Air Force Base unauthorised plane landing

On Friday, 3 May 2013 the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security (JCPS) Cluster Ministers held a media briefing wherein a detailed update was given on issues surrounding the unauthorised landing of a private plane at the Waterkloof Air Force Base.

At that media briefing Government undertook to initiate a seven working day investigation led by the JCPS Directors-General. The Chairperson of the JCPS Cluster, Minister Jeff Radebe received the report after the expiration of the seven working day period, i.e. on Tuesday, 14 May 2013.

A meeting of the relevant Ministers will be convened on 15 May 2013 to study the contents of the report and provide feedback to the general public and members of the media at a press conference on a date to be announced.
