The North West Department of Education and Sport Development in partnership with the bereaved families will be laying the three learners who died in a fire accident at the North West School for the Deaf at their final resting place on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The North West Department of Education and Sport Development MEC, Maphefo Matsemela will be attending the funeral in Dr Kenneth Kaunda:
- Bulelwa Koni (18) will be laid to rest on Saturday, 29 August 2015 at Extension 24, Jouberton in Klerksdorp at 07:00.
The Senior Managers of the department will attend the 2 other funerals in Mafikeng and Kuruman.
- Katlego Diseko (16) will be laid to rest at her home in Ikopeleng village in Mahikeng on Saturday, 29 August 2015.
- Emily Oageng (22) will be buried at Campden, Kuruman on Sunday, 30 August 2015.
Therefore, the media houses are invited to cover the funerals.
