Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) saddened by the passing away of Commissioner Lindiwe Octavia Ntuli-Tloubatla
The Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) sends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and relatives of Commissioner Lindiwe Octavia Ntuli-Tloubatla who passed away on Monday, 20 November 2023, following a long illness. Commissioner Ntuli-Tloubatla was a committed leader and passionate gender activist and will be dearly missed by the Commission and society.
Commissioner Ntuli- Tloubatla joined the CGE in 2019 until her untimely death. Within the CGE, she served in various committees such as the Human Resource, Education and Research and Legal. She was so passionate about human rights and human capacity development.
“As the Commission we mourn and henceforth celebrate the life well lived. Indeed, the country will surely miss her”, said Advocate, Nthabiseng Sepanya -Mogale, the Chairperson of the Commission for Gender Equality.
On behalf of the Commission for Gender Equality, “We say her memory and what she laboured for will be her legacy. We shall never forget the footprints she left behind” Sepanya -Mogale added.
