Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts Culture and Recreation, Lebogang Maile has described the victory of the Lions over the Sharks at the weekend as ‘’clinical’’.
‘’We are elated that another Gauteng based sporting outfit has clinched a major championship such as the Currie Cup. We remain convinced that our vision of positioning Gauteng as a Home of Champions is one that we are living. This augurs well for us both in terms of the policy vision and what we seek to achieve in development.
We convey our congratulations to the team for this victory and we are certain that from here things can only get better’’ said Maile.
