Gauteng Roads and Transport on closure of Three Rivers Driving License Testing Centre in Vereeniging

Three rivers DLTC to close its doors

The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport would like to inform residents in the Sedibeng area about the permanent closure of the Three Rivers Driving License Testing Centre in Vereeniging.

This as a result of the department’s lease contract with the land owner at the centre comes to an end on 31 March 2014.

The department would like to assure community members that it remains committed to providing services to the people in the area and that the closure will not affect any bookings already made at the centre.

Measures had already been put in place to deal with the closure with the last learners’ license test taking place on 20 March 2014.

However, the Centre will remain open for collection of driving license cards which had already been ordered until 31 March 2014.

Those who are not able to collect their cards within the prescribed period will be notified of the venues where they can collect their cards.

Current staff members at the centre will be redeployed to other provincial DLTCs to further enhance service delivery at those centers.

Members of the public are encouraged to contact the following DLTC’s in the Sedibeng Municipality for future bookings:

  • Vereeniging DLTC - 016 450 3343
  • Vanderbijlpark DLTC - 016 931 1155
  • Meyerton DLTC - 016 450 3945
  • Heidelburg DLTC - 016 341 2450

The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
