A 40 year old Game Reserve farm manager, Mr Walter Nkuna, was found dead in his room at the game reserve yesterday afternoon in Dwaalboom, near Thabazimbi in Limpopo.
Police were following leads of rhino poaching after a rhino was killed last Friday at the game farm. The police were about to confront the suspect when he was found dead. His official firearm was found next to his body.
It is suspected he might have ended his life when police were about to arrest him. There is no evidence to suspect foul play at this stage.
An inquest docket has been opened by the Dwaalboom police for further investigations.
