Free State Environmental Affairs on rhino poaching

Three rhinos shot by poachers at Willem Pretorius Nature Reserve in the Free State on the night of 3 August 2015. All three rhinos survived the merciless attack but one is very critical. No horns have been removed.

The Free State Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs rangers and police are following the tracks of the suspects and investigations are ongoing. No one had been arrested yet.
