A fourth and possibly the final suspect was arrested this morning in Doornkloof in connection with the 1999 murder of Oupa Abel Ramogibe. The fourth suspect, a 52 year old Lieutenant Colonel attached to Crime Intelligence was taken into custody this morning by a South African Poloce Service (SAPS) Directorate, the Hawks. He will appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 4 April 2011.
He will also be charged with the same charges as his co-accused Lieutenant General Richard Mdluli, Colonel Sebastian Nkosana Ximba and Warrant Officer Samual Dlomo, viz. murder, attempted murder, intimidation, kidnapping, assault grievous bodily harm (GBH), conspiracy to commit murder and defeating and/or obstructing the course of justice.
