Fifteen injured in North West taxi accident

North West Police are investigating the cause of a taxi accident in which three passengers were seriously injured and 12 others suffered minor injuries in an accident that occurred around 10h30 the R509 Koster-Swartruggens road on Thursday morning.

It is alleged that the driver of the fifteen seater taxi with Gauteng registration from Johannesburg to Botswana lost control of the vehicle after it had a puncture and rolled over.

All the fourteen injured passengers and the driver were rushed to Swartruggens hospital for medical attention after being treated by paramedics at the scene of the accident.
