Gauteng traffic police arrested over 93 motorists for driving under the influence of alcohol. The operation took place in Sebokeng in the Vaal. They are due to appear at the Sebokeng Magistrate court on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
MEC for Community Safety Ms Faith Mazibuko appealed to all motorists to comply with the law as they risk lives of other people including them, she further urges all law enforcement agencies to act decisively to maintain order on the road.
More arrests are expected as the campaign intensifies. ‘Asi Bhayi iSkelm siyabopha’.
