Ex policeman arrested for allowing stolen cars exit Lebombo Border

Joseph Nyalunga was a member of the South African Police Service attached to Lebombo Port of Entry. It is alleged that he assisted the criminals to transport stolen cars across the border.

He resigned from the South African Police Services shortly after the investigations against him started.

He was arrested in Nelspruit yesterday. He appeared in the magistrate court. The case was postponed to 7 December 2011. Valuable information was recovered from the suspect that will assist in future investigations.
