Early this morning, 7 July 2014, The Presidency received information that smoke was coming out from one of the offices in Tuynhuys, the Presidency office building in Cape Town.
The Emergency Management Services investigated and reported the source of the smoke to be an electric fault. There was no fire and no damage occurred to the building.
