The Speaker of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature, Ms Noxolo Kiviet, has learnt with shock of the tragic loss of lives in a road accident involving two vehicles on N6 outside Queenstown recently.
“We are all extremely saddened to hear about the tragic accident in which eight people died. We wish to offer our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to the bereaved families and friends on this tragic and untimely loss of lives. Our hearts bleeds for each of you and we grieve along with all the families who suffered such tremendous loss”, she said
As the Legislature, we pray that God of comfort who supplies endurance, comfort and sustain you during this sad time. We also wish the injured a full and swift recovery. I wish to also appeal to road users to obey all the rules of the road and exercise caution at all times.
May the departed souls rest in peace.
