As 2011 draws to a close, I would like to thank all the people of the Eastern Cape for their contribution in our endeavours to make our Province a compelling place to live, work, invest and play. Whilst we acknowledge gains we have made this year, much more work lies ahead in our quest to better the lives of the people.
Next year we look forward to strengthening partnerships with all our stakeholders in fighting poverty, under-development and inequality. I wish all the people of our Province and visitors to our shores a safe and joyful festive season and a prosperous new year.
