Death is an intruder, it always comes when least expected.
Death is cruel, it separates families when they are least prepared.
Death is a monster with no manners and lacks compassion.
Port St Johns has lost one of its best way too soon.
It is with pain and heavy hearts that we bid farewell to our fallen comrade, a community champion and a visionary, Councillor Danisile Mangqo. His passing has caused us a most severe pain and indeed no amount of words can express our deepest sympathy.
Comrade Mangqo was a devoted and selfless hard-working cadre of our movement, who gave so much to so many causes. He was a good man of integrity and a fearless activist who committed wholeheartedly to the people with whom he served. To lose someone who gave so much to life and community is hard to accept. His tireless efforts, his humour and respect for all those he worked with will be sorely missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends, colleagues, comrades, Port St Johns Council and the African National Congress (ANC). We hope that cherished memories will help ease your grief.
