The Superintendent General of the Eastern Cape Department of Education (ECDoE), Mthunywa Ngonzo, today announced the release of a Closed Vacancy list Volume 2 of 2014. The bulletin, which consists of 3 370 educator post, is only for schools with additional educator vacancies as covered by the Education Labour Relations Council’s (ELRC) Collective Agreement 1 of 2014.
The 3 370 list include vacant list for 2055 Level 1 Educator, while 987 is for Head of Departments (HOD) and 328 for Deputy Principals. The department seeks to ensure that teaching and learning at schools is prioritised.
The department’s leadership is seriously aiming to help unlock all the complications encountered by school in delivering curricular to learners. Attached is the list of the posts per district and their levels
