DIRCO on passing away of Mr Joseph Mabuza

The communications team of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), led by the Spokesperson Mr Ndivhuwo Mabaya last night extended its condolences to the family of Mr Joseph Mabuza, Spokesperson for Department of Safety and Security in Mpumalanga. Mabuza died in a motorbike accident on Sunday, December 23, 2018.

“Mabuza was a colleague, an excellent communicator and a friend to many of us. His death is painful and should remind us of our responsibility on the road, and the growing number of South Africans who lost their lives during this holiday season.” Mabaya said.

He added that “Mabuza always reminded us of our responsibility on the road, and called on all of us to share the road and to show each other courtesy. His constant reminders that the road belongs to all road users, we forever be observed.”

“I do hope that law enforcement officers in Mpumalanga and across the country will be inspired by the energy and commitment of Mabuza to road safety and be more vigilant and harsh on those who break the laws and rules of the road”.
