It has come to the attention of the Office of Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe that a number of impersonators are using the name of the Deputy President to communicate on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.
We wish to put it on record that Deputy President Motlanthe has never registered on Twitter, Facebook or any other social media platform and therefore distances himself from the contents of impersonated accounts.
The Presidency has requested both Twitter and Facebook to close all accounts purporting to be owned by Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe.
