Through the continuous partnership with Dignity Dreams, funds considerable awareness and funds have been raised for Dignity Dreams reusable sanitary towels. Many young girls who previously had no sanitary towels  have now been provided with sanitary towels thereby keeping the girls in school for up to five years and enabling them to have a brighter future.

“I have always been passionate about addressing girl’s education especially for girls in rural areas; I am therefore participating in the 702 Walk the Talk in order to bring attention and action to this important cause.” said Deputy Minister Manamela.

On conclusion of the 15km walk, Deputy Minister Manamela will auction the T-shirt he walked with on Twitter and the funds raised will go towards the purchase of more Dignity Dreams sanitary towels.
