The Department of Water Affairs is warning all those wishing to apply for recently advertised vacancies not to make any payment to individuals posing as a government officials.
The Department of Water Affairs (DWA) has been alerted to a jobs for cash scam in Pretoria in which potential job seekers are asked to make payments of R500, 00 (five hundred) to secure posts advertised during the current departmental special recruitment drive.
Please note the department does not require payment from applicants and will not take responsibility for those who fall victim to such scam. In addition, those approached by these criminals should report them to the police.
DWA has embarked on a massive special recruitment drive in order to fill vacancies throughout the country.
