Cultural, Religious and Language Rights Commission staff visits Nelson Mandela Foundation as part of celebrating Nelson Mandela Mondays

The Cultural, Religious and Language Rights Commission staff and its senior leadership is in support of the Mandela Monday under the theme “Working Together to Build a Caring Society’ and will undertake the historical tour on 11 of July 2011 at Nelson Mandela Foundation Offices in Houghton, Johannesburg as part of learning the cultural and religious legacy of the former elder statesman.

As we celebrate this last Mandela Monday the CRL Rights Commission would like to remind South Africans that, let us care and share his words for five minutes and boldly implement his words that ‘Masakhane is about people taking responsibility for their own upliftment and participating in the governing of their own lives, it is about empowering ourselves by creating good working relations between government and communities, for the benefit of everybody’.

We therefore call upon our Cultural, Religious and Language Communities to dedicate their 67 Minutes on the 18 July 2011 by caring and respecting the vulnerable, youth and elderly people.
