President Jacob Zuma recently received a letter dated 21 August 2014 from Adv Thuli Madonsela, the Public Protector, indicating her views about the report he had submitted to the National Assembly in relation to the security upgrades to his Nkandla residence.
The President today responded to the letter from the Public Protector. He has submitted both the letter from Adv Madonsela and his response to it, to the Speaker of the National Assembly.
