Allegations of trampling on application forms by correctional officials investigated
Department of Correctional Services (DCS) Management has strongly condemned the publication on various social media platforms, a photograph of two DCS officials who allegedly trampled on employment application forms.
Chief Deputy Commissioner Human Resources, Mr Teboho Mokoena has called on all DCS Officials to uphold the department’s values and Code of Conduct, and refrain from behaviour that tarnishes the reputation of the department.
Mr. Mokoena says "the Departmental Investigation Unit is currently conducting an investigation into this matter, and that the department shall await the outcomes thereof before determining an appropriate way forward."
Chief Deputy Commissioner Mokoena added by "reassuring the public and every applicant, that steps are being taken to ensure that all departmental recruitment processes are fair, just and transparent."
