On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of South Africa, the High
Commissioner of South Africa to India, H.E. Rev. Harris Majeke wishes to present
esteemed congratulations to India for co-hosting an impressive 2011 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup.
Furthermore, we note the excellence displayed by the Indian National Cricket Team and offer the people of South Africa’s deep congratulations. We are further delighted that the victorious team was led by our very South African, Coach (Mr) Gary Kirsten.
An extended congratulations also goes to all the teams that participated in the 2011 ICC World Cup and the South African National Cricket team that brought about one of the most riveting cricket world cups ever.
