The Office of the Deputy President is pleased to extend its well wishes to Mr Andrew Mokete Mlangeni on his birthday dinner.
As an eminent elder, Mr Mlangeni is renowned for his longstanding activism in a cause of social justice. We deem it a privilege to be part of a worthy event meant to profile a dedicated and selfless man.
We are inspired by the Jean and Andrew Mlangeni Foundation for organising this golf and dinner day to assist those in need. This foundation is congratulated for raising funds to support families in need of winter warmth and comfort.
The hundreds of people who have benefited from the Mlangeni Winter Blanket Project over the years bear testimony to cherished values of botho/ubuntu urging us to remember that ‘I am because we are’.
The Office of the Deputy President further encourages other professionals to emulate the organisers of this birthday golf/dinner event in honour of the stalwart, Mr Andrew Mlangeni.
As a passionate golfer, we also wish Ntate Mlangeni all the best in his struggle to improve his handicap of 14.
May he see many more happy birthdays.
