The National Youth Development agency in Limpopo would likes to congratulate the 2010 matric class for the good work they have done. We say so because we have been confident from the start that they were going to do us proud as a province.
On the same note we would like to call upon those that did not perform well to go back to class and work very hard, It is important to always remember that its is better to try unlike giving up. Parents, teaches and learners are encouraged to go back to class and work very hard in ensuring that we produce even better results in the year 2011.
When the Former Limpopo Youth Commission launched ‘ METRIC FRIDAY’ we had made commitments to the fact that we will be rolling out the back to school campaign, a further engagement with FET and Higher education Institutions in ensuring that we broaden access to higher education and advance the educating of the African child concept. As NYDA Limpopo Chapter we are busy in finalising details of the campaigns and have also started a process to ensuring that our provincial Universities and FET’s play a major role in admitting learners who qualify. We have also ensures that a comprehensible processes is put in place in partnership with NSFAS in ensuring that students who are in need of financial assistance receive the necessary attention.
As the National Youth Development agency Limpopo Chapter we remain hopeful that working together with parents, teachers and learners we can produce even better results this year. We are thankful to everybody who heard our call and stood side by side with us and learners in supporting them (2010 matric class) during their final examination period, let us continue doing so even this year.
