Mpumalanga Safety, Security and Liaison Member of the Executive Council (MEC), Sibongile Manana, will hand over reflector jackets to Elukwatini Community Police Forums (CPF) on Thursday, 29 July 2010 at 11h00 at Siphumelelo hall at Elukwatini.
The event is part of the department’s programmes which are meant to assist the CPF and the patrol teams when patrolling in the community. The initiative will also assist in enhancing visibility of the police in the areas.
It is the department’s belief that with initiatives like this, partnerships with the society against criminality will be strengthened and safer communities will henceforth be created.
