Ministry of Communications statement on the ruling in the Western Cape High Court
The Minister has noted the ruling in the Western Cape High Court regarding the appointment of the South African Broadcasting Corporations (SABC) Chief Operating Officer.
The Ministry intends to appeal the ruling by the Western Cape High Court as we are of the view that another court may reach a different conclusion regarding the merits of the case, and will shortly be meeting with our legal team to review the judgement and to prepare our appeal.
