The Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) has appointed Ms Keketso Maema as the Chief Executive Officer on a fixed term performance based contract. Ms Maema will officially resume duties on 1 August 2010. Her appointment is a victory for the advancement of gender equality within the country. The CGE is looking forward to work with her and giving the much needed support in ensuring that the mandate of the institution is realised.
