Members of the media attending the Gauteng Youth Day event/s can start collecting their accreditation cards between 10h00 and 17h00 today.
The Youth Day commemoration, to be led Premier Nomvula Mokonyane, the Mayor of Johannesburg, Amos Masondo and the City of Tshwane Executive Mayor, Gwen Ramokgopa, will see the honouring of Tsietsi Mashinini and Solomon Mahlangu at noon.
This year's celebration will be held under the theme "Working together for youth development through action." The theme re-affirms a call for youth to work together in improving the social conditions of young people who still live in poverty and distress.
