Premier Modise further thanked SADC ambassadors for the role that their respective countries played in the liberation struggle. “We thank you for having harboured our freedom fighters in your countries. You would go hungry in order to feed us. It is this human solidarity that that we must continue to nurture and take forward as Africans.”

The ambassadors arrived in the North West on Sunday and will return tomorrow. The objective of the ambassadors’ visit to the North West province is to promote bilateral relations between the respective countries as well as to promote the Head of Mission’s own country, and provide opportunity for these Heads of Mission to interact with the leadership of the North West.
