On Thursday, 24 November 2011 evening, detectives from O.R. Tambo International Airport arrested two Chinese nationals in Edenvale, Gauteng and seized large amounts of foreign passports, forged documents, UNISA degrees as well as stolen government equipment.
Detectives were following up information which led them to a townhouse in a upmarket area of Edenvale. Police searched the house and discovered large amounts of documents as well as.

- 1x Swaziland Immigration stamp from Mahamba border post

- 1x Johannesburg Home Affairs stamp
- Temporary RSA residents permits and RSA visitors visa's
Two Chinese nationals, a 47 year old female and a 53 year old male have been arrested.
Home Affairs officials are working very closely with the detectives in this investigation and there is a possibility of further arrests. The two suspects will be appearing in the Germiston Magistrates Court tomorrow Monday, 28 November 2011 on charges of being in contravention of Section 49 of the Immigration Act as well as for being in possession of suspected stolen goods.
