The 2010 National Tourism Careers Expo (NTCE), which was scheduled to take place from 27 to 29 January 2011, in Durban, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances that hampered the final preparations of the event.
The expo provides a platform for young people to interact directly with the industry and access information about the available education and training opportunities in the tourism sector and is hosted by the national Department of Tourism together with its partners, the Tourism, Hospitality, Sports Education and Training Authority (THETA) and the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development and Tourism.
National Department of Tourism together with its partners would like to notify the schools and the public at large that the 2011 NTCE will still go ahead in September as it has been the norm.
