In order to comply with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and the Preferential Procurement Policy Act (PPPA) and to ensure competitive procurement processes, the Department of Public Enterprises invites prospective service providers of the following goods and services to be listed on its database.
It is compulsory that service providers who have already submit application forms need to re-apply to enable the department to update their profile. Note that the department is only based in Gauteng with an office in Cape Town.
* Stationery
* Fumigation
* Furniture removal and storage
* Advertising
* Design and printing works
* Recruitment agents
* Assessment tests
* Forensic investigations
* Panel beating of cars
Requirements: Submission of completed registration forms and company profile.
Registration or evaluation criteria
The following criteria will be used for the evaluation of the registration process:
* Valid tax clearance certificate (not older than 12 months).
* Tax and value added tax (VAT) number
* Company profile
* Indication of Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) and gender representivity status. Certificate from Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) agency which reflect your status should be submitted. Companies who previously have submitted applications for registration on the database need to submit a copy of the BEE status report.
* Ownership status by HDI, women and people with disability
* Copy of registration forms issued by the Companies and Intellectual Property Registration Office (CIPRO).
* Small, medium and micro-enterprise (SMME) status
Registration forms are obtainable from the Department of Public Enterprises website: http://www.dpe.gov.za or collect at Infotech building, 1090 Arcadia Street, Hatfield, Pretoria.
