Department of Labour offices in Bethlehem have been temporarily closed due to flooding in the area.
It is reported that all four bridges leading into the town have submerged due to the Jordan River that crosses in the middle of the town that is full to capacity.
Workers and the public residing in areas such as Bohlokong, Laprovance, Jordania, Bakenpark and Panorama in Bethlehem are unable to access the town due to the floods.
Clients who require urgent assistance from the Department of Labour are urged to visit the nearest Labour offices in Harrismith or Puthaditjhaba for services.
