Arts and Culture Minister to seek more information on the building of Enyokeni Palace at Nongoma

The Minister of Arts and Culture, Mr Nathi Mthethwa announced today that he will seek more information for clarity on the construction of a cultural facility at Enyokeni Palace in Nongoma in KwaZulu-Natal.

Minister Mthethwa has given a written reply to a question by Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) National Assembly member, Mr N Singh who asked for details on the facility including the architectural design and plans, budgets and names of successful tender service providers.

In a written response submitted today, Minister Mthethwa said: “On assuming office I picked up the issue regarding the construction of Enyokeni Palace at Nongoma as raised by the member”.

“As a result, I have asked for more information for clarity from relevant officials about the project and other similar projects as well. I will appraise the member once the information has been provided,” stated the Minister.
