A South African National Defence Force (SANDF) member based in Oudtshoorn was arrested for alleged rape and child molestation on 4 July 2014.
The matter is under investigated by the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the member is in custody.
The SANDF condemns such behaviour in its strongest terms and wishes to state that it shall not condone such irresponsible and ill-discipline behaviour.
