The North West MEC for Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ms Desbo Mohono, has put the Head of Department, Dr Mmamakgaba Mogajane on a precautionary suspension. The suspension is effective from 4th March 2013.
The Department cannot at this stage disclose the details of this suspension, as this may jeopardise the internal investigation.
Dr Poncho Mokaila, the department’s Chief Director responsible for Agricultural Support Services, has been appointed as the Acting Head of Department.
