Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Lebogang Maile has learned with sadness about the death of one of South Africa’s legends and talented actors, Ntate Moshoeshoe Chabeli.
“The country has lost one of the experienced, dedicated and talented entertainers of our times. His contribution in the entertainment industry especially theatre and film cannot go unnoticed,” said the MEC.
This legendary actor will be remembered in productions such as The Wild, Zero Tolerance and Mopheme, but he will best be remembered for his role as “Richard” the obedient and humble husband in Mponeng.
“On behalf of the Gauteng Provincial Government, we extend our heartfelt condolences to family, friends, and the arts fraternity. We also join them in their mourning because it is also our loss,” added MEC Maile.
