South Africa will on the 24 September 2014 celebrate our rich heritage. The celebration will take place at James Motlatsi stadium (Formerly Openhiemer) in Orkney, North West province. The theme for this year’s Heritage Month is “Celebrating 20 Years of Democracy: Tell your story that moves South Africa Forward! The theme encourages South Africans to tell their stories as part of celebrating 20 years of democracy.
South Africa is a country with a great story to tell, a story of struggle and victory and a commitment to work together to foster nation building and social cohesion.
All members of the media are advised to email their personal details (Names & Surname, Name of Company, ID/Passport number, Cell numbers) to Ireen Magwai on Ireen@gcis.gov.za or Patience Mogomotsi on PatienceMo@dac.gov.za for accreditation purposes by no later than Monday 15 September 2014. The date for collection of accreditation will be communicated soon.
