MEC Ramokgopa to assess situation at Thelle Mogoerane Hospital
Gauteng MEC for Health Dr Gwen Ramokgopa will this afternoon, 02 November 2017, conduct a walkabout and later brief the media on plans to resolve challenges faced by Thelle Mogoerane hospital in Vosloorus.
This follows a week long protest by staff as well as security personnel over alleged mismanagement and staff shortages at the hospital.
MEC Ramokgopa will also touch on the Department’s strategy on payment of suppliers.
The media is invited to join the MEC for a walkabout and briefing which will take place as follows:
