Zamdela Arts and Culture Centre in Sasolburg will celebrate its 10th year anniversary at an occasion to be staged as follows:

Zamdela Arts and Culture Centre was established in September 1999 and is situated in the most disadvantaged township of Chris Hani. Since its inception the centre has been playing a pivotal role in the development of young and senior residents of Zamdela.
During its 10 years existence, Zamdela Arts and Culture Centre has been offering various programmes to the community of Zamdela and these include aerobics, performing and visual arts as well as crafts. Prolific artists have since been produced by the centre. The centre thus far has 148 participants affiliating as well as several cultural groups who utilise its facilities.
The 10th year anniversary celebration will be characterised by various activities including: cultural performances, exhibition of crafts produced within the centre, fashion show of products produced in the centre, certificate award ceremony for centre clothing design trainees etc.
MEC Dan Kgothule takes this opportunity to congratulate the centre on the occasion of its 10th year anniversary celebration.
