Members of the media are advised that President Jacob Zuma will on 16 June 2010 deliver a keynote address at the National Youth Day commemoration under the theme, "Working together for youth development through action".
The president will be accompanied by Minister in The Presidency, Collins Chabane, Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza and National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) Chairperson, Andile Lungisa.
This year, the country commemorates the 34th anniversary of the 1976 uprisings, and takes place within the context of the first anniversary of the establishment of the NYDA resulting from the merger of the National Youth Commission and Umsobomvu Youth Fund.
The NYDA is aimed at creating and promoting coordination in youth development matters.
