The MEC of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Dr. Ivan Meyer, will this morning breakfast with leading Western Cape sport women which include amongst others, the 72 year old Petronella "Nellie" Kleinsmidt who is the most senior karateka in Africa, 2012 Judo Olympic qualifier, Chantelle Doddemeade, Springbok rugby player, Janine Felix, and table tennis umpire, Genevieve Lentz, who will be umpiring at the 2012 Olympics.
International Women's Day has since 1975 been globally celebrated on 8 March.
